Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

What you'll do
  1. Provide evidence-based vision care, including recommending and prescribing medications and treatments, delivering routine vision care, and educating patients and staff on eye health.
  2. Evaluate patients’ eye health through comprehensive examinations, review medical histories, and perform diagnostic tests.
  3. Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids; develop treatment plans based on clinical presentation.
  4. Represent the company in vision care and patient engagement, ensuring high-quality customer service and maintaining patient records.
  5. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and Walmart vision center guidelines.
  6. Perform administrative tasks such as financial transactions, patient registration, and retail transactions.
  7. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated patient care.
  8. Develop strategies for workforce engagement, talent development, and fostering an ethical, inclusive environment.
  9. Lead community outreach initiatives and develop business strategies aligned with customer needs and company goals.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctoral degree in Optometry (OD) from an accredited school. Licensed optometrist in good standing in the state of practice.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in healthcare and optometry preferred.
