Position Summary...

Provides evidence-based vision care to ensure patients' health and well-being by recommending and prescribing medications and treatments (e.g., LASIK surgery, cataract surgery) following evidence-based guidelines. Delivers routine vision care, educates patients and staff on eye health, contact lens care, disease management, and safety. Recommends follow-up care, consults with other health professionals, and facilitates referrals to ophthalmologists and specialists. Ensures comprehensive patient evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments, including prescribing glasses, contact lenses, and conducting diagnostic tests like OCT. Develops treatment plans based on clinical findings, maintains patient records, and ensures compliance with healthcare regulations. Represents the company in providing exceptional customer service and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate patient care. Implements business strategies, recruits and develops talent, and fosters a respectful, ethical workplace environment. Builds community partnerships and supports outreach initiatives. Adheres to Walmart's leadership expectations, including respect, integrity, customer service, and continuous improvement.
