Job summary

Target Optical in Canton, GA seeks an Associate Optometrist (OD) to deliver comprehensive eye care and manage patient health. You will diagnose, treat, and manage diseases, injuries, and disorders of the visual system while leading in a collaborative practice environment.

The role emphasizes patient experience, quality care, and use of advanced optometric technology in a team-focused store setting. Licensing and DPA/TPA certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School or College of Optometry.
• Licensed to practice Optometry in the State of practice location.
• DPA and TPA certified.
• Knowledge of current Optometric technology and practices.
• Strong communication skills – verbal & listening.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality optometric care and services to patients.
• Establish a positive Doctor/Patient relationship.
• Conduct all services with clinical protocols and standards of care.
• Ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations.
• Utilize technology to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
• Collaborate with store/practice team and Field Leadership to maintain a safe, motivating environment.
• Maintain office quality systems.
• Maximize relationships through leadership and participation.
• Provide training and guidance to team members.
• Strive to exceed KPI and performance expectations.
• Help position the brand as leading optical provider in the community.
