Job summary

FenixHire is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join a well-established eye care practice in Chicago, IL. The role emphasizes patient care with robust clinical support and modern diagnostic equipment.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
• Active optometry license in the applicable state or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient communication skills.
• Ability to provide comprehensive and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose vision conditions and eye diseases.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and, where permitted by state regulations, provide therapeutic treatments.
• Identify potential signs of systemic health conditions through comprehensive eye evaluations.
• Educate patients on eye health, corrective lens options, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records using the EMR system.
