Job summary

HealthDrive is seeking an Optometrist to serve residents in Southeast Massachusetts nursing facilities with part-time or full-time options (2–4 days per week). The role offers 700+ per day via production, uncapped earnings, and full benefits at FT.

You'll deliver general optometry care, travel daily to facilities, with on-site equipment, EMR, and strong administrative support. Requires OD, state license, and ability to work independently; 100% malpractice coverage and mileage reimbursement are

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry (OD) required.
• State professional license.
• Valid driver’s license.
• TPA certified/Legend Drug Certificate.
• Ability to work independently daily.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to use email, internet and EMR software.

Responsibilities

• Provide general optometry services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities and long term care facilities.
• Diagnose and treat refractive and ocular conditions.
• Enter patient information and document in EMR system.
• Travel daily to skilled nursing facilities to treat patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

HealthDrive is currently seeking an Optometrist, to work Part-Time or Full-time (2-4 days per week) in Southeast Massachusetts (work available in the Plymouth/Bristol county areas).

Responsibilities

The Optometrist will provide general optometry services to the residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long term care facilities within an assigned territory.

Essential Functions:

• Diagnose and treat refractive disorders.
• Diagnose and treat ocular disorders caused by age-related illnesses.
• Examines, diagnoses, treats, and manages diseases, injuries and disorders of the visual system, the eye, and associated structures.
• Identifies related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
• Enters patient information and completes required clinical documentation in our cutting-edge EMR system.
• Mobile model treatment of patients requires daily travel to skilled nursing facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
