Job summary

Pearle Vision in Grand Junction, CO is seeking an Associate Optometrist to deliver and lead the execution of NECE, partnering with the Store Manager to create a safe, motivating work environment and exceptional patient care.

The role requires Doctor of Optometry, strong communication, and excellent time management. You will coach staff, maintain clinical protocols, and contribute to patient satisfaction and store performance.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry with knowledge of current optometric technology and practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Well-organized with excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Conveys a 100% commitment to providing excellent Patient/Customer Service through delivering and leading the execution of NECE.
• Assists with greeting patients and answering phones when needed.
• Conducts all service in accordance with Clinical Protocols and accepted standards of care.
• Ensures all patients receive accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations.
• Establishes a positive Doctor/Patient relationship.
• Coaches Associate Doctors on clinical protocols (Audits charts as appropriate).
• Communicates effectively with all store associates to ensure a seamless eyecare experience and beneficial patient outcome.
• Focuses on developing the most qualified Associate Doctors and store associates by ensuring training in Orientation, Front desk procedures, Pre-testing, Telephone skills, Contact Lens Training, Clinical Protocols, Pearle Certified Eyecare, Company safety, HIPPA, and Loss Prevention.
• Leads to achieve targets in secret shops, sales plan, exam growth, store profitability, and ancillary services.
