Job summary

Brenart Eye Clinic in Yorkville, IL seeks a high-energy optometrist to join as full or part-time. You will perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose ocular conditions, and collaborate with the optometry team to deliver high-quality care. On-call one night weekly and weekend coverage every 4-6 weeks.

Ideal candidates hold a Doctor of Optometry, IL license, and residency or 2+ years of experience, with strong communication and patient-service skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Optometrist License for the State of Illinois.
• Completion of an Optometry Residency or at least Two Years experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of optometry principles and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and take/evaluate measurements using state-of-the-art technology.
• Diagnose ocular conditions and assist in treatment of ocular disease.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and/or eye medications as appropriate.
• Explain eye health, eyewear and prescription terminology to patients.
• Facilitate outstanding patient services during all interactions.
• Contribute to the patient care team on an on-call basis one night per week and weekends every 4-6 weeks.
