Job summary

Acuity Eyecare Group is seeking a licensed optometrist in China Grove, NC to perform comprehensive eye exams, educate patients, and promote eye health. You will establish lasting relationships, assess ocular history, and discuss treatment options with patients.

You will diagnose refractive errors, prescribe glasses or contacts, and provide postoperative care and disease screenings as part of a full-scope optometry practice.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Establish long-term patient relationships through care and education.
• Perform vision tests and analyze results.
• Diagnose sight problems and ocular diseases.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications.
• Provide treatments such as vision therapy or low-vision rehabilitation.
