Job summary

Visions of Washington - Barlett Eye Clinic is seeking an optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams, educate patients on eyecare, and support practice growth. The role focuses on building long-term patient relationships, diagnosing refractive errors and ocular conditions, and prescribing glasses, contacts, and medications.

On-site position with full-time benefits. The successful candidate will have a Doctorate of Optometry and state board eligibility, and participate in growth and education

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Establish long-term patient relationships through proper care and education.
• Conduct verbal interview with patient prior to examination to determine health history and vision needs.
• Diagnose sight problems and prescribe eyeglasses, contacts, and medications.
• Perform vision tests and analyze results.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care for eye surgery follow-up.
