Warby Parker is looking for a patient‑focused, full‑time Optometrist to join one of its affiliated independent optometry practices located adjacent to a Warby Parker retail store. You will practice under the clinical direction of the supervising optometrist(s).
What You’ll Do
- Perform high‑quality comprehensive eye exams and contact lens evaluations in line with established clinical protocols and standards of care.
- Partner with the store team to create an exceptional patient experience while working together to grow the eye exam business at your location.
- Prescribe eyewear, contacts, and eye health solutions tailored to each patient’s needs, and educate them on their options.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of vision conditions, including refractive error and ocular health assessments.
- Share eye care knowledge and coach the team to support patients throughout their journey.
- Maintain a visible and engaged clinical presence—answer patient questions, support product recommendations, and ensure a seamless, elevated patient experience.
- Use modern digital exam lanes and EMR tools to streamline care and ensure an excellent patient experience.
- Support key performance goals by delivering excellent clinical care.
- Collaborate closely with the Store Leader to align on goals and strategies, building a strong optometrist‑store leader partnership.
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records of patient examinations and treatments in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain State Licensure in good standing and meet all Continuing Education/State requirements.
- Serve as a brand ambassador by educating and inspiring patients and team members, reinforcing our leadership in eye care within the community.
- Take advantage of growth opportunities to expand your skill set beyond the exam lane, including developing business acumen, mentorship, and advanced clinical training.
- Perform other tasks as needed to provide an exceptional patient experience.
Who You Are
- Doctor of Optometry licensed in the state where you practice, in good standing.
