Job summary

HealthDrive seeks an Optometrist to join our on-site team serving residents in nursing facilities across Northern and Central New Jersey. This full-time position offers four days per week with clinical autonomy and a supportive practice infrastructure.

You will diagnose and manage refractive and ocular conditions, travel to facilities daily, and deliver patient-centered care with no patient quotas. HealthDrive provides 100% malpractice coverage and a proprietary EMR system to streamline

Qualifications

Doctorate of Optometry (O.D.) required.
State professional license required.
Valid driver’s license required.
TPA certified/Legend Drug Certificate.
Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to use email, the internet and healthcare software.

Responsibilities

Provide general optometry services to residents in nursing homes and long-term care facilities.
Diagnose and treat refractive and ocular disorders, including age-related conditions.
Enter patient information and document in our EMR system.
Travel daily to assigned facilities for on-site care.
Perform other duties as assigned.
