Responsibilities include performing vision tests, diagnosing refractive errors and eye diseases, prescribing eyeglasses, contacts and medications, and providing pre- and postoperative care as needed; must promote eye health and communicate clearly with staff about best

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Perform eye exams and vision tests.
• Diagnose refractive errors and eye diseases.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications.
• Provide pre- and postoperative eye care when needed.
• Educate patients on eyecare and promote eye health.
