L2R Consulting seeks a patient-focused Optometrist to join our established ophthalmology practice in South Tampa, Florida. The role involves performing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing ocular disease, fitting contact lenses, and co-managing cataract, refractive, glaucoma, and cornea cases with our surgical team.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree required.
• Active Florida license or ability to obtain one.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in medical optometry preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams for new and established patients.
• Diagnose and manage ocular disease.
• Provide contact lens fittings and follow-up care.
• Co-manage cataract, refractive, glaucoma, and cornea patients with our surgical team.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and vision care.
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists, technicians, and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow.
