Job summary

Park Nicollet is seeking an Optometrist to join our Eye team as a Clinic Float. This full-time role involves float assignments across multiple clinics in Minnesota, with a Monday–Friday schedule and one Saturday half-day per month.

The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Optometry, at least two years of related experience, and Minnesota licensure. You will provide high-quality eye care while adhering to NCQA credentialing guidelines and Park Nicollet standards.

Qualifications

• Two or more years related optometric experience.
• Must maintain Minnesota optometry licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the Eye Department, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation of visual efficiency and eye health.

Position Summary

Provides direct patient care within the Eye Department, involving advanced assessment, implementation, intervention, and evaluation skills to determine visual efficiency and performance, eye diseases, and other abnormalities of or affecting the eyes. Prescribes corrective lenses, vision therapy, environmental modifications, and medications as allowed by state law and Park Nicollet Medical Center standards. Administers high quality patient care in accordance with the Board of Optometry and Park Nicollet Medical Center standards. The incumbent will be expected to comply with the standards of Personalized Care and Customer Service including all applicable SHINES and job‑specific standards.

Work Schedule

Fulltime 1.0 FTE. Monday - Friday, Days. Float to various clinics with one Saturday clinic half day a month. Sites include St. Louis Park, Minneapolis, Brookdale, Golden Valley, Carlson, Maple Grove, Chanhassen, Shakopee, Burnsville, Bloomington and Lakeville.

Required Qualifications

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination

Doctor of Optometry from an accredit school of Optometry, and two or more years related optometric experience.

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification

The incumbent must maintain licensure to practice optometry in the State of Minnesota

This position requires credentialing, following the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) guidelines.

PAY RANGE

$136614.40 - $204921.60 annually
