Job summary

Acuity Eyecare group is seeking a licensed optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose ocular conditions, and provide patient education to support ongoing eye care growth in Tucson, AZ. You will establish strong patient relationships and guide treatment options on-site.

The position requires a Doctorate of Optometry and active state licensure, with a focus on delivering high-quality eye care and maintaining patient loyalty.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from an accredited program and state board licensure.
• Strong ability to interview patients and collect medical/ocular history.
• Ability to perform comprehensive eye exams and diagnose refractive errors.
• Provide patient education on eyecare and treatment options.

Responsibilities

• Establish long-term patient relationships through care and education.
• Conduct vision tests and analyze results to inform treatment.
• Prescribe eyewear and medications as appropriate.
• Offer post-operative and postoperative care following eye procedures.
• Promote eye health and educate on contact lens use and lens care.
