Job summary

Acuity Eyecare Group is seeking a licensed optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose conditions, and prescribe eyewear and medications. You will educate patients on eyecare options and promote eye health while supporting practice growth.

The role is on-site in Arizona, full-time with a competitive wage range and strong benefits package. Experience in vision therapy and post-operative care is a plus.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.
• Experience educating patients on eyecare and treatment options.

Responsibilities

• Establish long term patient relationships through proper patient care and education.
• Perform eye exams and vision tests, and analyze results.
• Diagnose eye problems and ocular diseases.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications.
• Advise on treatments such as vision therapy and post-op care.
• Promote eye health and educate patients on lens care and replacements.
• Coordinate with opticians and staff to select best lenses and coatings.
• Refer patients for systemic evaluations as needed.
