Acuity Eyecare Group is seeking an Optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams, build lasting patient relationships, and educate patients on eyecare options. The role emphasizes thorough patient interviews, accurate vision testing, and collaboration with staff to ensure high-quality care.

The optometrist will support practice growth by delivering exceptional patient education and keeping up with latest lens technologies and treatment options.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from an accredited institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to establish long-term patient relationships.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and analyze results.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through proper patient care and education.
• Interview patients to assess health, ocular history, and visual needs.
• Instruct patients on remediation options and involve staff in recap discussions.
• Generate patient loyalty and promote Acuity Eyecare Group values.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care for eye surgery patients where applicable.
• Recommend treatments and eyewear options, including coatings and designs.
• Explain eye health and regimen, including contact lens care and checkups.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers as needed.
