Job summary

Acuity Eye Group in Arcadia, CA is seeking a well-rounded optometrist for a full-time role, joining one of California’s leading eye care practices. You will contribute to high-quality ophthalmic care and patient well-being within a large, established group.

On a typical day you will see 20–25 patients using advanced tech (tonometer, phoropter, auto refractor, OCT, retinal imaging) and manage ocular diseases from routine to more complex conditions.

Qualifications

• CA Board Certified
• Preferred specialty: Medical Optometry

Responsibilities

• Manage ocular diseases at a comfortable level, including corneal ulcers, uveitis, red eye, diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma.
• See 20–25 patients per day using advanced equipment (tonometer, phoropter, auto refractor, Snellen chart, retinal camera, ophthalmoscope, OCT etc).

What You’ll Do

As a full-time optometrist, you will manage ocular diseases at a comfortable level for you, such as treating corneal ulcers and uveitis, addressing red eye conditions, diagnosing diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma, removing foreign bodies, and identifying macular diseases, retinal holes, and retinal detachments.

On a typical day, you can expect to see 20 to 25 patients, all enabled by advanced technology, including a tonometer, phoropter, auto refractor, Snellen chart, retinal camera, ophthalmoscope, OCT scans, and digital retinal imaging.
