Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Optometrist role based in Georgia, United States. The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage ocular diseases, and prescribe glasses and contact lenses. Daily responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, interpreting diagnostic test results, educating patients on eye health and treatment options, and collaborating with other team members to ensure high-quality patient care. The Optometrist will also document clinical findings accurately, participate in follow-up care, and support the practice’s mission of providing personalized, community-focused eye care.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution and current, unrestricted optometry license (or eligibility) in the state of Georgia
  • Strong clinical skills in comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fitting, and diagnosis and management of common ocular conditions
  • Ability to use modern diagnostic equipment and electronic health record systems efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients of diverse ages and backgrounds
  • Commitment to patient-centered care, community service, and maintaining high ethical and professional standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented practice and contribute to a positive, supportive workplace culture
  • Prior experience in a private practice or medical office setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply
