Job summary

The MedServ Group seeks a licensed Optometrist to join our team on a part-time basis, delivering high-quality eye care to residents in skilled nursing facilities. The role emphasizes clinical excellence and compassionate patient interactions.

The optometrist will perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose ocular disease, prescribe lenses or medications, and provide pre- and post-operative care with a Monday–Friday schedule and flexible options.

Qualifications

Part Time Compensation : $40.00 - $45.00 per patient or 35%-40% of collections ($1050-$1250 per visit).

The ideal Optometrist is confident, compassionate, and committed to delivering quality healthcare to the elderly population.

Optometrist Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive eye exams.
• Diagnosing and assisting in the treatment of ocular disease.

Optometrist Requirements

General Information

• 7-8 hours visiting patients plus paperwork.
• Schedule : Monday-Friday (typically 9:00AM-5:00PM). Flexible schedules also available.
• 22-25 patients per visit, preventative care
• Part Time Compensation : $40.00 -$45.00 per patient or 35%-40% of collections ($1050-$1250 per visit).
