Job summary

The MedServ Group is seeking an Optometrist to join our rapidly growing medical practice, providing high-quality eye care to elderly residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities. You will use clinical and interpersonal skills to support patients, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care and professional ethics.

The ideal candidate will hold a Doctor of Optometry degree, be licensed, and be comfortable communicating with diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

Part Time Compensation: $40.00 - $45.00 per patient or 35%-40% of collections ($1050-$1250 per visit).

TheMedServ Group is a rapidly growing medical practice that provides residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities with top-of-the-line care. We are currently searching for a talented Optometrist to join our team! You will use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. The ideal Optometrist is confident, compassionate, and committed to delivering quality healthcare to the elderly population.

Optometrist Responsibilities
  • Performing comprehensive eye exams.
  • Diagnosing and assisting in the treatment of ocular disease.
  • Prescribing corrective lenses or eye medications as needed.
  • Providing pre and post-operative care to surgical patients.
  • Promoting healthy vision by counseling and educating patients.
Optometrist Requirements

General Information
  • 7-8 hours visiting patients plus paperwork.
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday (typically 9:00AM-5:00PM). Flexible schedules also available.
  • 22-25 patients per visit, preventative care
  • Part Time Compensation: $40.00 -$45.00 per patient or 35%-40% of collections ($1050-$1250 per visit).
