The MedServ Group is seeking a qualified Optometrist to join our team in New York. The role focuses on comprehensive eye exams, ocular disease management, and patient education for the elderly in skilled nursing facilities.

Ideal candidates hold an OD degree with an active license, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a professional ethos. Part-time compensation is offered with flexible scheduling (Mon-Fri, ~9:00 AM - 5:00 PM).

Part Time Compensation: $40.00 - $45.00 per patient or 35%-40% of collections ($1050-$1250 per visit).

We are currently searching for a talented Optometrist to join our team! You will use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide the highest quality of care to our patients. The ideal Optometrist is confident, compassionate, and committed to delivering quality healthcare to the elderly population.

Optometrist Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive eye exams.
• Diagnosing and assisting in the treatment of ocular disease.
• Prescribing corrective lenses or eye medications as needed.
• Providing pre and post-operative care to surgical patients.
• Promoting healthy vision by counseling and educating patients.

Optometrist Requirements

General Information

• 7-8 hours visiting patients plus paperwork.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday (typically 9:00AM-5:00PM). Flexible schedules also available.
