Job summary

360care in Jacksonville is seeking a compassionate Optometrist dedicated to serving Geriatric and Underserved Communities. As a 1099 Independent Contractor, you will enjoy a flexible schedule without evenings or weekends. You will conduct eye exams and provide essential care across various skilled nursing facilities while receiving great compensation and complete administrative support.

We focus on quality patient care with trained vision tech assistance and state-of-the-art portable equipment. A Doctor of Optometry Degree and an active state license are required. If you are a qualified Optometrist, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities

• Travel to skilled nursing and long term care facilities.
• Conduct Eye Exams with mobile Optometric equipment and interpret diagnostic results.
• Diagnose and treat ocular diseases.
• Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses.
• Recommend follow up care and treatments.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on vision and optical protocols and concerns.
• Deliver excellent customer service through patient interactions.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Doctor of Optometry Degree
• Active State License
