360care is seeking a compassionate Optometrist focused on serving Geriatric communities in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. This role offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to choose your days, with great compensation as a 1099 Independent Contractor. You'll travel to healthcare facilities to conduct eye exams, diagnose ocular diseases, and provide essential vision education to patients and staff while receiving thorough support from the team.

Seeking a compassionate Optometrist with a heart for the Geriatric and Underserved Communities.

As a 1099 Independent Contractor, you will receive great compensation and enjoy a flexible schedule. No evenings or weekends as we work around your availability.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to skilled nursing and long term care facilities
• Conduct Eye Exams with mobile Optometric equipment and interpret diagnostic results
• Diagnose and treat ocular diseases
• Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses
• Recommend follow up care and treatments
• Educate patients, families, and staff on vision and optical protocols and concerns.
• Deliver excellent customer service through patient interactions

• All scheduling and billing is completed by 360Care

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Doctor of Optometry Degree
• Active State License
