Base pay range

$100.00/hr - $110.00/hr

Recruiting Physicians, Nurse Practitioners & offering Locum assignments.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Duration: ASAP start; minimum 6-month commitment

FTE Requirement: 1.5 FTE

EMR System: eClinicalWorks (eCW)

Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced Locum Optometrists to support ongoing patient care at a primary care clinic. This is a full-scope optometry role involving comprehensive visual examinations and ocular health management for patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the optical needs of patients, including acute and long-term care
• Conduct visual examinations within clinical guidelines
• Review and interpret patient records and diagnostic results
• Develop treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Document findings accurately in eCW EMR within established timelines
• Provide patient education on visual health and illness prevention
• Recommend referrals and community resources as appropriate

Requirements:

• Degree from an accredited School of Optometry
• Experience in clinical settings preferred
• Proficiency with EMR systems and optical equipment
