Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking an Optometrist to perform refractions and eyeglass fittings for military service members. You will work primarily on weekends with occasional weekdays, supporting a mobile/clinic model across the ME region. Access to equipment is provided by DOCS Health and emphasizes compassionate patient care.

Active licensure in the home state is required; prior military experience is a plus. This role supports a bridge for better health and readiness through fixed-clinic and deployment

Attention all Optometrists we are calling on you to work with us providing refractions and eyeglass fittings and treatment to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of ME on an "as needed basis".

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include performing refractions and eyeglass fittings with equipment provided by DOCS Health.
