Job summary

Midwest Eye Consultants is seeking an Eye Clinic Technician in Winchester, Indiana to support doctors with exams, perform preliminary tests, and manage patient flow. The role includes preparing exam rooms, obtaining histories, and handling scheduling while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for patients and staff.

The position offers wage starting at $15–$17 per hour, with robust benefits, paid holidays, PTO, and a company-paid certification program to support growth.

Qualifications

• Experience handling patient histories and data collection.
• Experience coordinating patient scheduling and flow in a clinic.
• Ability to assist doctors with exam procedures and room preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for eye examinations by communicating features and benefits of preliminary testing.
• Perform all preliminary tests and assist doctors with tests as requested.
• Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow throughout the office.
• Prepare exam room, clean instruments and maintain inventory of medications and supplies.
• Provide a safe, clean, organized environment for patients and staff.
• Perform other duties as determined by office manager or doctors.
