Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for eye examinations by communicating the features and benefits of preliminary testing.
• Perform all preliminary tests and any doctor-requested tests on patients.
• Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow; communicate delays.
• Prepare exam room; maintain instruments and supplies; ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Support office operations as directed by the manager or doctors.
