Job summary

Optometric Management Group LLC in Middletown, OH is seeking a dedicated Optometric Technician to support the doctor with clinical testing and patient flow from check-in through exam completion. This is an in-person role in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

This position requires strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities; prior optometric or medical office experience is preferred but training is available.

Responsibilities

• Support front office operations when needed (filing, faxing, scanning, transcribing, etc.).
• Provide outstanding customer service and patient support.
• Ensure compliance with office procedures and healthcare standards.

Optometric Technician – Part-Time/Full Time

Location: In Person

We are seeking a dedicated, professional, and patient-focused Optometric Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support the doctor by performing clinical testing and ensuring an exceptional patient experience from check-in through exam completion. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient patient flow and delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner

Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical history and performing preliminary testing

Assist the doctor during patient exams as needed

Clean, sanitize, and restock exam rooms between patients

Support front office operations when needed (filing, faxing, scanning, transcribing, etc.)
