Job summary

EyeCare Partners in Frisco, TX seeks an Optometric Technician to assist in preliminary testing and ensure smooth patient flow. You will verify insurance information and communicate with patients, doctors, and staff to deliver excellent care.

This full-time position requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and a willingness to learn. Local travel to other sites may be required as part of coverage and training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred medical office experience; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Favorable result on background check as required by state.
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor in preliminary testing.
• Verify medical and vision insurances.
• Effectively communicate with patients, doctors, and managers.
• Answer inquiries through phone, email, and in-person requests.
