Job summary

This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and knowledge of eyewear products. You will manage patient records, operate the POS, and help maintain organized displays and supplies to create a smooth, friendly patient

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year strong guest service experience.
• High School Graduate or GED or equivalent.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Strong basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Strong interpersonal skills: friendly, caring, patient.
• Sales skills.
• Knowledge of store merchandise.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests promptly and provides immediate service.
• Explains visit reasons and required paperwork, tests, and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information carefully.
• Operates POS and handles payments when required.
• Pre-examination testing with accuracy and patient explanations.
• Maintains and disinfects contact lens inventory and supports the Optometrist.
