• Previous retail/optical experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to learn basic optical concepts and terminology.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality patient care.
• Maintain a professional atmosphere in the doctor’s office and pretest room.
• Explain preliminary examinations to patients.
• Complete paperwork and perform tests prior to the Doctor’s exam.
• Promote visual field testing and retinal screenings.
• Review prescriptions and patient information with staff as needed.
• Maintain equipment in doctor’s and pre-test areas.
