Job summary

Eyedoc Private Practice in New Albany, Ohio is seeking an Optometric Technician to work in a team-based, in-person setting with 3 doctors, 4 technicians, 5 opticians and 2 front desk staff. The role offers a 40-hour work week, no weekends, and a benefits package including PTO, holidays and retirement plan.

You will assist doctors by preparing patients, pretesting and operating advanced diagnostic equipment, while keeping Crystal PM EHR records accurate and up-to-date.

Qualifications

• Optometric or Ophthalmic Technician experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and pretest to support doctors.
• Conduct 8-10 patient briefings daily.
• Use state-of-the-art optometric diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain accurate records with Crystal PM EHR.

Location: In-person
Pay: $17- $21 per hour (dependent on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (No weekends!)
Hours: Full-time, up to40 hours per week
