No optical experience or certification is required; training is provided!

• Ensure high quality patient care.
• Maintain a professional environment and appearance.
• Understand ocular terminology, diseases, and abbreviations.
• Explain preliminary examinations to patients.
• Complete paperwork and perform tests prior to doctor examinations.
• Promote visual field testing and retinal screenings.
• Review prescriptions and patient info, identifying special needs and consulting with team members as needed.
• Maintain equipment properly.
