Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience (optometric experience preferred but not required).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate and connect with patients.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities—you’ll be multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with a passion for self‑improvement and a desire to learn new skills.
• Detail‑focused and capable of documenting patient exams and procedures with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist optometrists in delivering outstanding patient care, from pre-screening to post-exam follow-up.
• Perform diagnostic tests, gather patient medical histories, and assist in educating patients about their vision benefits.
• Guide patients in contact lens training, insurance verification, and scheduling their next visit.
• Ensure smooth patient flow by coordinating appointments and managing office communications.
