Job summary

Lifetime Vision Center in Grand Forks, ND is seeking an Optometric Technician I to support optometrists with pre-screening tests and patient care. This full-time role offers a weekday schedule, no weekends, with competitive benefits and a starting pay of $19–$20 per hour.

You will collect patient histories, explain vision benefits, train on contact lens use, verify insurance, and help manage appointments while ensuring a high-quality patient experience. Training is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience (optometric or medical is a plus)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong multitasking and organizational abilities in a fast-paced setting
• A team player with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting patient information
• Flexibility and a proactive attitude toward supporting team success

Amazing schedule - no weekends or evening hours! Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
