Job summary

Southern Illinois Eye Care in Chester, IL is seeking an Optometric Technician I to join a patient-centered team. You will support optometrists with pre-screening tests, collect medical histories, verify insurance, and help coordinate patient flow to ensure a high-quality experience.

The role offers full benefits, a 40-hour schedule, and no evenings or weekends. Training is provided; growth opportunities are available for dedicated team members within a compassionate eye-care environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience (optometric or medical experience is a plus)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

We're looking for a detail-oriented, patient-focused individual to join our team as an Optometric Technician I. Pay : $15-$17/hour with full benefits including PTO, paid holidays, insurance, 401k + match & so much more!
