America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses is hiring an optometric technician to support pre-screenings, testing, and patient flow in a fast-paced optical setting. No prior optical experience required; training is provided to develop essential eye care knowledge and patient-facing skills.

You will assist the optometrist, explain procedures to patients, and maintain accurate records while upholding a professional clinic environment. Competitive benefits accompany this role.

• Previous retail/optical experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high quality patient care and professional atmosphere in the office.
• Explain preliminary examinations and ocular terminology to patients.
• Complete paperwork and perform pre-exam testing.
• Promote visual field testing and retinal screenings.
• Review prescriptions and patient information with optician/doctor.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
