Visionworks onsite Telehealth Specialist (Optometric Assistant) is the face of patient care, guiding remote eye exams and helping customers choose eyewear. You will manage patient records and coordinate with Telemedicine physicians in a streamlined, human-to-human experience.

As part of the team, you will support in-store sales, educate customers about products, and ensure a smooth transition from exam to purchase while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Personally assist remote eye exam processes and act as liaison between patients and Telemedicine Remote Physicians.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and provide associates necessary information to educate and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet additional patient needs.

$13.70 - 18.47 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Onsite Telehealth Specialist (TS)/Optometric Assistant (Telehealth) is the very face of our patient care and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient during our Telemed remote eye exam. This person is trained and knowledgeable about eye health and preliminary testing, optics, our products/services and managed vision care. The TS personally takes the patient through their entire Visionworks experience ensuring their eye exam and eyewear needs are met in a simple, human and bold way.
