Job summary

VisionFirst Eye Care - Jeffersonville is seeking a friendly, patient-focused team member to join our on-site clinic. You will greet patients, prepare them for exams, perform basic pre-tests, and maintain accurate records with warmth and professionalism.

No prior optometry experience is required, but experience is a plus. We offer training, generous PTO/holidays, ESOP, 401k, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, life insurance, and free eye exams with glasses.

Qualifications

• Team player who is dependable and takes ownership.
• Prior optometry or medical office experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic equipment and perform preliminary testing
• Prepare patients for their eye exams by performing medical history intake
• Guide patients through their visit with warmth and professionalism
• Keep patient records accurate and up to date
• Assist with various in-office procedures that ensure organized and efficient patient flow
