Pay Details

Pay Type: Part Time

Pay Range: $17.80 - $26.70 per hour

The Role

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, ensuring a positive experience for every patient. This role involves knowledge of eye health, preliminary testing, optics, and managed vision care, guiding patients through the initial steps of their eye care journey.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
• Introduce patients to the OD and communicate important information
• Assist in transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing necessary product and service information
• Support store operations, including inventory restocking, equipment cleaning, and answering phones to meet patient needs

Qualifications

• Customer or patient service experience preferred but not required
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
