Job Title:Optometric Assistant

Job Type:Full-Time

Pay:$18–$22 per hour (based on experience and performance)

About Us

Lumos Eyecare is a modern, patient-focused optometry office located inside Costco in Bridgewater, NJ. We provide comprehensive eye care with an emphasis on specialty testing and treatments. We’re seeking a friendly, adaptable, and proactive Optometric Assistant to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients with professionalism and care
• Perform pre-testing to prepare patients for their eye exams
• Assist the doctor with specialty testing and treatment procedures
• Educate patients on treatment options and their benefits
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the patient visit
• Support a variety of day-to-day clinical and administrative tasks
• Help promote services and contribute to practice growth
• Collaborate with the doctor and owner to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service role preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Sales experience or confidence in sales conversations is aplus
• Comfortable speaking with patients and presenting information
• Positive attitude, flexible, and willing to learn
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive in a fast-paced environment
