Pay Details:

Type: Part Time

Range: $15 - $18.54 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, ensuring the best possible journey for every patient. This role involves training and knowledge in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a human, simple, and bold manner.

• Maintain accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
• Introduce patients to the OD and provide essential patient information
• Transition patients from the doctor to the sales floor, assisting associates in educating and recommending suitable products and services
• Support daily operational activities such as restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience

Qualifications:

• Customer or patient service experience preferred but not required
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
