Pay Type: Part Time

Pay Range: $15-$18.54 per hour

The Role

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, dedicated to ensuring the best possible experience for every patient. This role involves training in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, and our products/services, guiding patients through their initial steps in our process to meet their eye care needs effectively and compassionately.

Responsibilities include:

1. Maintain accurate patient records prior to conducting preliminary tests.
2. Introduce patients to the OD and relay important patient information.
3. Assist in transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing staff with necessary information to recommend products and services.
4. Support daily operational activities including restocking, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience.

Qualifications

• Customer or patient service experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; related experience is a plus.
