Pay Type: Part Time

Pay Range: $15-$18.54 per hour.

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, ensuring the best possible experience for every patient. This role involves training and knowledge in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their vision care journey, ensuring their needs are met in a friendly and professional manner.

• Maintain accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.

• Introduce patients to the OD and provide relevant patient information.

• Transition patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing associates with necessary information to recommend suitable products and services.

• Support daily operational activities such as restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience.

Qualifications:

· Related customer or patient experience preferred but not required.

· HS diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
