Pay Class: Part Time

Pay Rate: $10.64-14.01/hr

The Role
A Visionworks OD Tech/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, dedicated to ensuring the best experience for every patient. Responsibilities include preliminary testing, maintaining patient records, assisting with eye exams, and supporting store operations.

• Maintain accurate patient records and conduct preliminary testing
• Introduce patients to the OD and relay important information
• Assist in transitioning patients from exam to sales, recommending suitable products and services
• Support daily store operations such as inventory, equipment cleaning, and answering phones
• Support opening/closing the store as needed

Qualifications

• Customer or patient experience preferred but not required
• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Licensed OD Techs must maintain a State Opticians License
