Pay Type: Part Time

Pay Range: $13.70 - $18.47 per hour

The Role

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our exam practice, ensuring a positive journey for every patient. This role involves knowledge of eye health, preliminary testing, optics, and vision care products/services. The CS guides patients through initial steps, ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a friendly, professional manner.

• Maintain accurate patient records before testing
• Introduce patients to the OD and share important information
• Assist in transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor and educate them on products/services
• Support daily operational activities such as restocking, cleaning, and answering phones

Qualifications

• Customer or patient service experience preferred but not required
• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent
