Pay Class: Part Time

Pay: $10.64-$14.10 per hour

The Role
A Visionworks OD Tech/Optometric Assistant is the face of our exam practice, dedicated to ensuring the best patient experience. You will be trained in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, and our products/services, guiding patients through their eye care journey in a friendly and professional manner.

• Maintain accurate patient records before testing
• Introduce patients to the OD and relay important information
• Assist in transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor, recommending suitable products and services
• Support store operations, including restocking, cleaning, and answering phones
• Support opening/closing the store as needed

Qualifications

• Customer or patient experience preferred but not required
• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Licensed OD Techs must maintain a State Opticians License
