Pay Type: Full Time

Pay Range: $11.52 - $15.54 per hour

The Role

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, dedicated to ensuring the best patient experience. This role involves knowledge of eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through initial steps of the Visionworks experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a human and bold way.

• Maintain accurate patient records before preliminary testing
• Introduce patients to the OD and provide relevant patient information
• Transition patients from doctor to sales floor, educating and recommending products/services
• Support store operations including restocking, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet patient needs

Qualifications

• Customer or patient experience preferred but not required
• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent related experience
