Southwest Eye Care is hiring for a full-time Optometric Assistant at our Jordan location.

About the Optometric Assistant role:

• Focus on patient needs to create value

• Assist doctors during clinic by taking patient histories, performing pretests, and preparing exam rooms
• Handle front desk duties including answering phones, greeting and checking in patients, verifying insurance, billing, and scheduling
• Perform optical duties such as frame selection, lens ordering, glasses adjustments, and dispensing
• Manage contact lens orders, trials, and I & R classes
• Order medical supplies and manage samples
• Handle administrative tasks like reconciling statements and ordering supplies
• Travel to other offices as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
